About our SEL Content Advisor Intern

Mursal Obaid is a junior at Mount Miguel High School who excels academically and in extracurricular pursuits. Mursal is on track to graduate with eight community college courses and has a keen interest in studying medicine. Mursal is the president of the MedConnect Club, a member of the Advisory Council, the vice president of the Youth Medical Association,  an active participant in the Academic League, and a member of the TRIO Math and Science Program at UC San Diego.

Mursal is a dedicated community servant. She volunteers her time to various initiatives, such as Community Serve Day, which supports and uplifts others. In her free time, she enjoys reading and studying, furthering her intellectual curiosity and passion for learning.

Mursal is excited to be part of the Reflections Publishing LLC team. She looks forward to contributing her insights and skills to meaningful projects and assisting in the Research and design of new projects. Mursal also looks forward to raising awareness among youth on ways to improve social and emotional self-regulation skills.
